"John has been been volunteer tutoring with Age Action's Getting Startedprogrammehttps://www.ageaction.ie/how-we-can-help/getting-started-computer-training since September 2016.

I don't think I realised the breadth of his skills when I first engaged with him. He has demonstrated all the skills needed for this opportunity. Patience, lots of it, because sometimes a learner decided not to turn up. Versatility, because he sometimes had to tutor on various devices and with multiple learners.

He approached each teaching experience with new eyes and exhibited good listening skills and with his technical skills he has proved an asset to the volunteering team. We hope that he will continue to volunteer with us."
